Plot Availability & Selection
Our Secretary, Sara, will help you with personal selection of plots.

Our groundskeeper is usually on site between 7.30am and 2pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Monumental
Plot size 1200 x 2400mm, maximum of 1200mm high. They are for up to two interments in coffins/caskets and later interment of up to three Ashes for cremation.
MONUMENTAL GRAVE SITES – The area of Monumental work must not exceed the plot size.
All plans and specifications must be submitted to the Trust for approval.
Grass
GRASS – Plot size 1200 x 2400mm. They are for two interments in coffins/caskets and later interments of up to three Ashes from cremation. These plots are flush with the ground and plaques can be installed at ground level or below ground level. There are strict limits on plaque size, type and placement and all specifications must be submitted to the Trust for approval. All plaque installations must be approved by the Trust.
A Grass plot cannot be converted to a Monumental plot at a later date.
Ashes
ASHES – Plot size 600mm x 600mm. For interments of up to two ashes per plot. These plots are flush with the ground and can have plaques installed at ground level or below ground level. There are strict limits on plaque size, type and placement and all specifications must be submitted to the Trust for approval. All plaque installations must be performed by the Trust or a monumental mason.
SINGLE ASHES – Plots in Rock Garden, with a standard plaque mounted on a rock. Ashes to be buried as close as possible to the rock.
All ground level plots do not permit any above ground adornments with the exception of fresh flowers. This restriction allows the Trust to maintain the grave sites in a tidy state.

Graves
Once you have purchased a grave, your right of interment is granted in perpetuity. This means the grave will remain undisturbed for the lifetime of the cemetery.
Cremation memorials
A right of interment for a cremation memorial can be purchased in perpetuity or for 25 years.
It is very important for right of interment holders to keep their address details up to date.
All plans and specifications must be submitted to the Trust for approval.
There are some limitations on the height, size and type of monument, as well as restrictions on additions to grass and ashes plots. Please read our Rules & Regulations.

Frequently Used Terminology
The burial or entombment of human remains or of cremated human remains.
A right of interment is a legal entitlement to inter human remains or cremated human remains in a particular grave or cremation memorial.
The holder of the ROI is the person or persons to whom the right of interment is granted. They are, in effect, the ‘owner’ of the grave or cremation memorial.
The length of time (in years) that a right of interment has been granted for. Rights of interment of human remains and of cremated human remains are perpetual.
